What not to Gift!

V - Day is closing in and searching for that perfect gift, well, can be stressful. But, don’t pull your hair out searching for that perfect gift., we’ve taken the pleasure to help you escape the disaster that awaits you. ;)

We’ve watered it down and put together a list of what NOT to gift…

Deo’s

Don’t gift deodorants to anyone unless you’re trying to make an obvious hint to their unruly odor. Gifting deodorants send out a message that, “You Smell”

Stuffed toys

Unless your date is a 5 year girl, we suggest you skip the adorable, fluffy and pink and get your date something that’s more classy.

Neck Ties

Neck ties and bows strictly a No, No. Ties and bows are gifts for daddy and grand daddy. So don’t turn him off with a boring old tie that he probably already has a ton of.

Cheap Jewelry

Every girl loves a little bling bling, so go all the way and gift her diamonds,  rubies, emeralds, gold if you like. But, don’t be cheap and get her imitation jewelry.

Heart Memorabilia

Yes, Valentine’s Day means hearts all over. But isn’t that a little too cliché? You don’t need heart themed gifts to express your love. Think out of the ordinary; get your date something that’ll leave them impressed!

Hope we’ve helped you avoid the catastrophic Gift. We wish you luck in finding that perfect gift for your perfect match. :)

Christmas Anticipation!

Last minute shopping, decorating the house, putting up the Star, mommy’s hiding the sweets away, getting the milk and cookies ready for Santa and caroling in the night, it’s the favourite time of the year for so many of us…

So who is Santa?

Saint Nicholas of Myra is the primary inspiration for the Christian figure of Sinterklaas. He was a 4th century Greek Christian bishop of Myra (now Demre), Turkey. Nicholas was famous for his generous gifts to the poor. He was very religious from an early age and devoted his life entirely to Christianity. In continental Europe he is still portrayed as a bearded bishop in canonical robes.

Are you’ll all set for Santa? We sure are!
